The Ruth Project —
We are so excited to launch our Give-Back Program 2022.
One of our dear customers, Hazel, was in our store recently to take one of our Private Crochet Classes and purchased yarn to make an Amigurumi project. Her plan is to donate to the Dunwoody Police Department to have on hand when called to serve instances involving children.
We absolutely loved the idea and convinced Hazel to partner with us. Introducing the Max and Herb Ruth Project, named after Hazel's mother, who taught her the importance of volunteerism and giving back to our communities.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Please join us in creating any kind of hand-made animal for donation. Any craft is included, and if you have yarn or materials (think buttons, stuffing) to donate, we will accept that as well.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Everyone is invited! No matter where you are, near or far, please join us by sending us or bringing in your yarn, materials, or finished project to Max and Herb.
WHEN DOES IT START?
Right now! You can start creating right away. If you have yarn or materials to donate, please send them to 5502 Peachtree Rd, Suite 150, Chamblee, GA (30341)
We want to invite you to our Ruth Project Create Circle too! If you are in the Atlanta area, join us in our shop every second Thursday of the month from 6 to 8 pm to create these gifts together. We start on January 13th.
We will also be reaching out to neighboring Brookhaven and our own Chamblee Police Departments to receive our completed projects.
We are so excited to launch this program and look forward to seeing all your creations and stitching together.
