Knitting Masterclass 2.0 — Learn to Knit Socks That Fit (Thursday Nights)

Have you dipped your toe into sock knitting and are ready to become a true sock knitter? This class is for you. We will learn to knit socks toe up using fingering weight yarn and double point needles.
Class will teach Judy’s Magic Cast On for the toe and a German Short Row heel. You will learn how to knit a sock that fits your foot as well as methods to avoid second sock syndrome, easy ways to customizing vanilla sock patterns and tips and tricks to make beautiful fingering weight socks.
Taught in three sessions: 1st class will concentrate on knitting socks that fit and knitting the toe. 2nd class will concentrate on the German Short Row heel. Third class will concentrate on finishing, care for hand-knit socks, and tips for knitting socks as gifts for others.Years of experience in one masterclass!
Once one sock is made a sockaholic is in the making! It is seriously addicting!
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED —
Students should know how to knit and purl, how to do simple decreases, and have worked with double-pointed needles. If you have knit the top of a hat, you are good to go! If you are not comfortable working with double-pointed needles, check out our Knitting Private Classes and we can guide you to learn this new skill!

Due to Covid-19, your seat will be at an appropriate distance from the other participants.
If you find you have to cancel your class and it is more than 7 days before the first session, you will receive a full refund. If it is 7 to 2 days (48 hours) before the first session, you can either receive a store credit or register for another class. If it is within 48 hours before the first session, you will not be able to receive a refund or a store credit. Unfortunately, if you miss a class, there are no available make up classes.
